One of the first questions most people ask is about our name. Why brand communications and trees? It’s a fair question.
Our name doesn’t refer to brand communications at all. It refers to a houseplant that gave us a green thumbs-up…
Becca received a Bonsai tree as a gift. With a flair for words and creativity, she decided to call it - treetree.
Chinese Elm Bonsais are meant to be really, really hard to kill. Unless you’re Becca Thompson, daughter of two horticulturists. Nothing worked to bring him back to life. Not watering, moving, raking, trimming, finessing, talking to, singing to or petting treetree.
And then, the very day that Tiffany and Becca decided to go it alone, he came back to life. We took it as a sign that we were doing the right thing and decided to call ourselves treetree. It’s a memorable name, it’s easy to spell, and almost everyone can pronounce it.
The rest is history. Our history.
So we’re treetree. And we’re dedicated to crafting authentic brand communications.
