BECCA THOMPSON PRINCIPAL





Think fast. Talk fast. Walk fast (in high heels). That's Becca in a nutshell. She's a non-stop burst of energy brimming with insights and one of the toughest branding acumens in the biz. She started her career as an ad agency intern at b&a while still in high school (overachiever), and worked her way up through the ranks to become a VP of that very same agency more than a decade later, where she led branding, strategy and insight development for many national and regional clients.

In her career, she helped SRA/McGraw-Hill name, brand, position and launch its signature Pre-K — 6 reading program; developed the brand and category position after extensive focus groups for avitae caffeinated water, created countless strategies for a multitude of service lines for the OhioHealth family of hospitals and helped create the national employment brand for industry-leader Safelite AutoGlass. She's helped local arts companies through tough economic times while conducting an evaluation of the Opera Columbus brand which led to a new logo, position, look and feel, and a host of collateral and marketing materials. She has also helped ProMusica increase subscriptions and event attendance.

Becca brings a level of passion and dedication to the industry that many never knew existed. She drives the strategy process and dares the team to take chances, look beyond the obvious touchpoints of the past, and most importantly keep the consumer's interest in mind. She prides herself on being the voice of the consumer, and after the extensive research analysis she had conducted and audience insights that she has uncovered over the years, it comes as no surprise that she is the audience authority.
